Underfloor Heating (UFH)

In a new build or with a conversion UFH is definatly worth thinking about, UFH will run at a lower temperature, this being more efficient and can also run form a heat pump.

Power Flushing

The build up of sludge in the central heating pipework / radiators / boiler is inevitable, no matter what fuel source is used. Over a period of time this sludge can block pipes and prevent the radiators from heating properly.
All heating systems are unique , and their condition depends on the type, age and usage among other things but the symptoms of clogged or scaled systems are the same; a noisy boiler, cold radiators in the lower middle, and higher fuel bills.
With the high cost of replacing a central heating systems, Jonathan Andrews can restore your system to a near new condition, putting off expensive repair bills for many years.

You may get the oil changed in your car every year, the water in your heating system will look like oil after about 10years, most systems have never been flushed throughout their time, the rust from the radiators and boiler heat exchanger will blacken and thicken the water, the pump will then struggle to pump at the correct speed

Power Flushing will take a full day and access is needed to all the radiators. The equipment requires a space near the airing cupboard or from the boiler if this is a combination boiler. Loft access is also required in most properties.

The cost of a Power Flushing is £325.00 (plus VAT) for up to 10 radiators and £25.00 per radiator thereafter.
